Theodore (Teddy) graduated from Northeastern University with an Honors Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience. As an undergraduate co-op student, he began working to delineate immune cell compartments at the borders of the brain in the context of early development.

Continuing in the laboratory of Dr. Beth Stevens, he continued to pursue his interests in the complex interfaces across the brain-meningeal-skull axes, analyzing from a neuroprotective standpoint how immune tolerance and surveillance of the brain are harmoniously maintained.

As a graduate student in the Neuroscience & Physiology program at NYU Langone Medical Center, Teddy continues his work in the neuroimmune space, investigating crosstalk between astrocytes and peripheral immune cells in the context of infectious disease.
