ANNA O’KEEFFE

Anna grew up in Dublin, Ireland, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology at University College Dublin. She worked under Dr. Antoinette Perry during her undergraduate studies, studying anti-cancer and chemoprevention properties of marine plant bioactives.
She moved to New York City and joined NYU Langone in 2019 as a research associate in the lab of Dr. Victor Torres. Her work focused on the development of a vaccine against Staphylococcus aureus infections and studying the pathogenesis of multi-drug resistant bacteria.
Anna is excited to join the Neuroscience Institute and to learn from this talented team!
