Kerry graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience (2019-23).
As an undergraduate researcher, she worked in Dr Dahlene Fusco’s virology lab studying Long COVID-19 and investigating the risk factors responsible for disease severity.
As a member of the Liddelow Lab, Kerry will be focusing on the role of reactive astrocytes in neurodegeneration. Collaborating with Dr Priya Prakash, she is investigating the contribution of different cell types to X-linked dystonia-parkinsonism (XDP) using the world’s first mouse model of the disease. In addition to her XDP research, Kerry is actively working with various rodent models to support other members of the lab.
Kerry is excited to join her colleagues in the Liddelow lab and work as part of such a talented research team.
